Tina Campbell – New Figure Masters Pro Champion

At the 2025 Arizona Championship, Tina stepped onto the IPL stage carrying more than just months of training. She brought her story. A mother, a caregiver, an advocate, and a woman who has rebuilt herself through discipline and heart, Tina not only earned her Pro Card in Figure Masters 40+ but went on to win her very first IPL Pro title that same day. From multiple class appearances to earning Top Transformation and another Pro Card in Evening Gown Masters 40+, her debut weekend was nothing short of remarkable. This is a story of resilience, purpose, and the power of refusing to give up.

"It’s honestly hard to describe. I went into that weekend praying just to make it through. To not only earn my Pro Card but then step right back on stage and win my first Pro title..."

NATURALMAG: Tina, congratulations on becoming the new IPL Pro Figure Masters Champion. Not only did you earn your Pro Card, but you also won your first Pro title that same day. How did that feel in the moment?
TINA: It’s honestly hard to describe. I went into that weekend praying just to make it through. To not only earn my Pro Card but then step right back on stage and win my first Pro title the same day was beyond anything I imagined. I was overwhelmed. I thought about everything that had led me there. Traveling from Alaska, my family, all the meal preps and workouts. The discipline and dedication finally paid off. Finding time to train through it all wasn’t easy. There were moments I wanted to give up because I already had so much on my plate, but I kept my head in the game and stayed focused.
NATURALMAG: Did you expect to have that level of success so quickly?
TINA: Not at all. I didn’t step on stage thinking about winning. I was focused on showing up, doing my best, and representing the transformation I’ve been through inside and out. I didn’t go in expecting trophies. I wanted people to see that no matter how many storms you’ve been through, you should never give up.
NATURALMAG: You also took 1st place in Figure Masters 40+, where you earned your Pro Card, and 2nd in Figure Open. How did you balance being competitive across multiple classes?
TINA: Before each class, I told myself, just breathe and smile. I didn’t think about who I was up against or what the judges wanted. I just focused on honoring the moment. I was nervous, so I tried to stay calm, trust my training, and remind myself that this was about showing the best version of me. Competing in multiple divisions was demanding, but I stayed centered on gratitude and composure every time I stepped on stage.

"Every time I walked back on stage, I reminded myself how blessed I was just to be there."

NATURALMAG: The day was packed for you. You also placed 2nd in Women’s Athletic Masters 40+ and earned another Pro Card in Evening Gown Masters 40+. How did you manage your mindset and energy through all of that?
TINA: That day was nonstop, but that’s how my life is anyway. Between taking care of my son Austin, running my nonprofit, and everything else, I’m used to juggling a lot. I think that helped me. Every time I walked back on stage, I reminded myself how blessed I was just to be there.
NATURALMAG: You were also awarded Top Transformation. How meaningful was that recognition for you?
TINA: That award touched me the deepest. Competing gave me back a sense of purpose that I had lost for a while. My transformation was never just about losing weight or building muscle. It was about finding myself again. Healing emotionally. Finding the courage, discipline, and dedication not to give up. Being recognized for that reminded me that transformation is about resilience. It’s proof that no matter what life hands you, you can still rise.
NATURALMAG: What do you think set you apart that day?
TINA: I didn’t walk out trying to be perfect. I walked out thankful to be there. My physique came from hard work, but my presence came from purpose. I wanted people to see that it doesn’t matter how old you are or how far behind you think you are. Confidence, gratitude, heart, and resilience will always shine through. It’s never too late to rise.

"...transformation is always possible. Your dream still matters. You just need to take the first step."

NATURALMAG: Just a few weeks later, you were on the Summer 2025 cover of INSPIRE Magazine. How did that feel?
TINA: That was such an honor. To go from the stage to the cover so quickly proved that when you pour your heart into something for the right reasons, doors open you never expected. Everyone has a story. I wanted that cover to send a message of hope to anyone who feels like it’s too late to start over or chase a dream.
NATURALMAG: Looking back, what stands out most?
TINA: It’s hard to choose. Winning titles and earning two Pro Cards were incredible, but what stands out most is the overall experience. The kindness and support from other competitors, the shared excitement backstage, the sense of community. It felt like family. Everyone had a story and we were all cheering for each other. That atmosphere is what I will carry with me forever.
NATURALMAG: Now that you’ve established yourself as a Pro Champion, what are your goals moving forward?
TINA: My goal is to keep growing in both strength and spirit. I want to keep showing that you can rise from anything. I’d love to continue competing, but even more, I want to use my story to encourage others, especially women juggling family, caregiving, and personal dreams. Life can throw so much at you, but it’s never too late to start again, stronger than ever. I want to keep competing, mentoring, and reminding people that transformation is always possible. Your dream still matters. You just need to take the first step. NATURALMAG

New IPL Pro & Top Transformation Winner Tina Campbell Lands Cover Of INSPIRE Magazine

“When life knocked me to my knees, I learned that’s the perfect place to pray. After my son’s accident, I felt broken like there was nothing left of me. But through my faith, I found fire. Bodybuilding became my therapy. I stepped on that stage not for a trophy, but as proof that no matter how dark it gets, there’s always a light if you don’t stop fighting. Pain can become your power.”
