Lindsey Williams: So Close To An IPL Sports Model Pro Card!
Lindsey Williams made a strong debut at the May 2025 IPL 10th Annual Arizona Championship, stepping on stage for the very first time in the Women’s Sports Model division. With confidence, style, and poise, she came just four points shy of earning her Pro Card—an impressive feat for a first-time Sports Model competitor. As she sets her sights on her next show, Lindsey reflects on the journey that brought her here, the motivation driving her forward, and what it means to compete with authenticity and heart.
"I felt so empowered walking on that stage—it was surreal."
NATURALMAG: Lindsey, congratulations on your IPL Sports Model debut! As a newcomer to the IPL and Women’s Sports Model, what were the feels like for you in that division?
LINDSEY WILLIAMS: Thank you so much! Stepping into both the IPL and Sports Model division for the first time was a mix of excitement, nerves, and adrenaline. I felt so empowered walking on that stage—it was surreal. The energy was electric, and being surrounded by strong, confident women made me feel like I was exactly where I was meant to be.
NATURALMAG: You came just four points shy of earning your Pro Card—what’s your mindset now that you’ve had time to reflect on how close you came?
LINDSEY: Honestly, I’m more motivated than ever. Coming that close showed me that I belong with the IPL and in the Sports Model Division, and that earning my Pro Card is absolutely within reach. I’ve taken time to reflect and learn, and now I’m focused on improvement in every area for the next time I step on stage.
"The Sports Model division felt like the perfect fit—the combination of fitness and fun seemed like a place I would fit right in!"
NATURALMAG: The IPL Sports Model division is known for its blend of athleticism, confidence, and style. What was your approach to presenting the full package on stage?
LINDSEY: I really wanted to bring a balance of strength and femininity. I trained hard and made sure every detail—from my walk to my smile—reflected my energy and personality. I wanted to show that being strong can also be sexy and feminine.
NATURALMAG: What initially inspired you to compete in the IPL, and what drew you specifically to the Sports Model division?
LINDSEY: I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of fitness and performance, and the IPL stood out to me because of how it celebrates individuality and true athleticism. The Sports Model division felt like the perfect fit—the combination of fitness and fun seemed like a place I would fit right in!
"It showed me that I can really do anything I set my mind to. Off stage, it’s pushed me to dream bigger and be bolder in all areas of my life."
NATURALMAG: Looking back at your prep for the Arizona Championship, what was the most challenging part of your journey—and what are you most proud of?
LINDSEY: The most challenging part was definitely staying mentally locked in during tough personal moments—there were days I didn’t feel 100%, but I showed up anyway. I’m most proud of my consistency and the way I pushed through with grace, even when things got hard behind the scenes.
NATURALMAG: You’ve got a growing presence in fitness—how has competing impacted your confidence and your goals, both on and off the stage?
LINDSEY: Competing gave me a whole new level of confidence. It showed me that I can really do anything I set my mind to. Off stage, it’s pushed me to dream bigger and be bolder in all areas of my life.
"Oh, I’m coming back with a vengeance—in the best way!"
NATURALMAG: We hear you’re planning a comeback for that Pro Card. What changes or upgrades are you focusing on to bring an even stronger package next time?
LINDSEY: Oh, I’m coming back with a vengeance—in the best way! I’m fine-tuning my physique, dialing in my posing, and really working on leveling up my stage presence.
NATURALMAG: What’s one moment from the Arizona Championship that you’ll never forget—whether backstage, on stage, or in the crowd?
LINDSEY: Walking out on stage for the first time and hearing the crowd cheer felt so surreal and like all of my hard work had paid off. But backstage, sharing laughs and encouragement with the other athletes was just as unforgettable. That sense of community and support was everything. IPL has some really awesome, kind, and supportive athletes that I really look up to!
"It’s not just about the medal—it’s about becoming the strongest, most confident version of myself so that I can set a positive example for others to follow."
NATURALMAG: You’re inspiring a lot of competitors. What advice would you give to women who are thinking about taking the leap into their first show?
LINDSEY: Do it scared, do it imperfect, just do it. You’ll grow in ways you never imagined. Do YOUR best, surround yourself with people who lift you up, and remember: the stage is just the celebration of all the work you’ve put in. So have fun!
NATURALMAG: Last one—what does success mean to you right now, and how are you redefining it as you continue your journey in the IPL?
LINDSEY: Success to me means showing up fully and authentically, both on and off the stage. It’s not just about the medal—it’s about becoming the strongest, most confident version of myself so that I can set a positive example for others to follow. NATURALMAG
