Maggie Mckeaver: IPL Bikini & Evening Gown Pro Champion

“Do what YOU love. Not what others told you to love.”

Thirty-three-years-young IPL Bikini & Evening Gown Pro Champion

Who are some of your inspirations?

My parents inspired me the most. They have always supported and motivated me to achieve my goals. They taught me to see dreams and inspired me to achieve through each endeavor. They always say nothing comes into your hands without hard work. Believe in hard work and never ever loose hope. My husband also inspires me. He is a loving and caring person. He is always there for me and supports me in everything that I do in life. He is also my gym trainer/coach and heavy lifting coach. He always believes in me, even when I doubt myself and he is the best cheerleader. I know I can’t give them back what they have done for me, so at least I can make them happy with my success.

What’s the best life advice you’ve ever been given?

Do what YOU love. Not what others told you to love.

Which fashion trends do you think should come back and which ones should die?

I love 80’s big hair. That trend needs to come back and also bell bottoms jeans are my favorite. Skinny jeans on men definitely is one that should die.

In what sort of clothing do you feel most comfortable?

I love wearing my leggings. These are definitely my most comfortable clothing. And matching with my crop top hoodie.

What is next for you?

IPL APEX in November. Trip to the Philippines to see my family and celebrate the holidays for the first time in years. And also looking for dates for next years IPL competitions.

Any final thoughts?

Thank you to SEAM magazine for giving me the opportunity to be featured. And thanks to Ben Yosef for being a great president of the IPL. More power to you all. SEAM
