#5 Ignore Fun
Now, here’s a plot-twist kind of advice…
People often think that the best workout is the most interesting one. In other words, they think that the best workouts are the ones that keep them entertained. However, the harsh reality is that the best workout is the one that is most effective.
And often, the most effective workout is repetitive in nature. The workout where you have a few exercises, and the goal is to master the exercise execution and improve your strength, reps and sets on that specific movement.
You might get bored of it, but if it’s effective, it’s worth doing. Nevertheless, this should only be at the core of your training sessions and on the side, you can do more diverse things like the ones we just talked about!
It’s kind of like nutrition. The balance should be in favor of whole, nutritious foods. But you can still include your favorite junk foods here and there!
