Just 3 months prior, IPL newcomer Megan Salonic became the league’s first athlete to earn a Shape Open Pro Card at the 9th Annual IPL Southwest Grand Prix in Scottsdale, Arizona. This contest featured the division for the first time. Following that contest Megan landed on the front cover of Natural Bikini Magazine.
Fast forward to IPL APEX VIII in November and Megan was back on the IPL stage, with an improved package for her Shape Open Pro Debut. And with it, she snagged the win, her first IPL Pro title and a spot in the IPL history books.
At APEX Megan also returned to Amateur Bikini Open, where she placed 2nd in a tough class, missing 1st by just six points.
After APEX the IPL created a 24-hour voting poll in order to determine who would be Natural Bikini Magazine’s next Cover Girl. Of the three athletes up for consideration, Megan received 45% of the votes, which gave her victory in the poll.
Success isn’t just about winning. It’s about dedication, discipline, and showing up as your authentic self. This cover represents not only the hard work, but the passion and perseverance behind it.
