BEN YOSEF: All I can say is WOW! What a show for you! I can only imaging the impact of that contest on you! How are you feeling about what you accomplished last October?

DESERET FOURNIER: Last October’s show was better than I imagined. I knew that consistent hard work, and posing practice every day would prepare me for being on stage, but it didn’t prepare me if I had won. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions…happy, humble, in disbelief. Overall, to this day, I’m so thankful and grateful.

BEN: Your first class was Bikini Novice. That class was stacked seven athletes deep. What was it like going up against that lineup?

DESERET: Honestly, I was extremely honored. These ladies, like myself, put so much hard work into their physique, appearance and posing. Their athleticism and drive to present their best was and continues to be commendable. I knew going into it that I was bringing my best package yet, and the fact that I actually won was amazing.

BEN: How were you feeling heading into the Open?

DESERET: I felt very mellow, surprisingly. The Novice division and win helped with my nerves, and the ladies backstage were so supportive.

BEN: Then it was on the Open. That Open class was NUTS, to say the least. It was stacked and very competitive. Heading into Finals you were in 5th place. How did it feel heading into the Model Walk knowing that you had such a fight ahead of you?

“I KNEW GOING INTO IT THAT I WAS BRINGING MY BEST PACKAGE YET, AND THE FACT THAT I ACTUALLY WON WAS AMAZING.”

DESERET: I honestly didn’t think about the fight per se, nor did I think about beating out the rest of the women. I just wanted to do the best walk that I could. I practiced my posing and my walk two times a day for six months straight. I knew that I needed to practice those because of the critique I received from previous shows. I knew that if I didn’t practice, I would not have felt as powerful as I did that day on stage.

BEN: Not only was your posing and Model Walk fire, but your overall physique was majorly improved compared to your previous contests. What did you do in terms of training and nutrition to come in like you did for this show?

DESERET: In order to prep for the competition, I counted 20 weeks out from the date of the show. From there, I made sure to work out with a regime I made six times a week, and ate healthy everyday. I wanted to cut my weight as healthy as possible, while still having fun with the process.

BEN: AWESOME! In addition to your Amateur wins you would walk away from this show with two Pro Debuts and two Pro titles. One in Pro Bikini and the other in Pro Fitness Angels. Congratulations again! Simply amazing! What is next for you and when will we see you back on the IPL stage?

DESERET: Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it. Well, I plan on competing again later in the year. But until then, I will continue to train to bring a better package to the stage.

BEN: Awesome! I am looking forward to seeing what you bring to the stage next! And congrats on taking and passing the IPL Judge Certification test! It will be awesome having you on the other side of the table! See you soon! BIKINI

Natural Bikini Magazine: The Dangers of Anavar and Clenbuterol for Bikini Competitors

“For Bikini competitors aiming to attain the coveted stage-ready look and the pursuit of ‘perfection’ sometimes leads to extreme measures, including the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) like Anavar and Clenbuterol. However, what many competitors may not realize is the hidden dangers associated with these substances, especially when they’re administered by coaches without adequate disclosure of their risks.”
