Cover image from Loreto’s photo shoot the day before the 2023 8th Annual IPL Arizona Championship in Phoenix on April 8th. At that contest Loreto won a Top Transformation Award in the Inspiration & Transformation division. She also placed 4th in Women’s Sports Model Open and 5th in Evening Gown Open.

Loreto and her family have been on an incredibly inspirational journey which is the cover story for this issue. The following is an excerpt from the journey Loreto shared at the Arizona Championship:

“I am honored to have begun this journey in honor of my youngest daughter Olivia, who is fighting an incurable rare kidney disease. My daughter was first diagnosed in October of 2020, and this changed our entire world. Unfortunately, I battled though depression and anxiety and I allowed myself to be consumed by grief. I did not take care of myself in the way I owed myself.

I started this journey back to myself and to help prepare myself to be Ollie’s kidney donor. I wanted to test myself mentally and physically, all while sharing her story and bringing awareness to the unknown disease called Nephrotic Syndrome.”

During Loreto’s photo shoot this touching video was filmed.

What an experience of a lifetime! My head is still in the clouds and my heart is bursting at the seams! What an unbelievable honor to see myself on the cover of a magazine that has represented the amazing journeys of so many inspiring men and women before me. I am so thankful and grateful for the IPL! I’m on cloud 9! I am forever changed because of this experience and the beautiful work Ben Yosef and the IPL put in to provide a natural platform and stage. And I’m happy to announce that I’ll hit that stage again in November! Thank you IPL a million times for this honor to be your summer cover girl for INSPIRE magazine. My heart is so full.
