I believe that my faith, family and how I stay active in my life and health keeps me young and happy.
What keeps you busy?
I have many hobbies that keep me busy when I am not working in the operating room. I ride my 2001 Harley Sportster, ride my 4 wheeler with my neighbors through trails in the Sierra where I live, hiking and running with my 5 year old chocolate lab, Penny. I have 9 acres of land that makes me a weekend warrior, because I keep it up. I am not afraid of hard work at all!
What is your view on tattoos?
I have two tattoos and I feel less, or none, is beautiful. I have seen a lot of tattoos on people throughout my career. I do enjoy asking people about the meaning of their own tattoos. The white tattoos are a safe way to go. You can cover them up when the occasion comes or when needed.
What three clothing items can’t you live without?
Leather jackets, tall boots and my flip flop sandals.
What is your dream job?
I already have my dream job in Plastic Surgery as a Surgical Assistant, going on 15 years. I get to make others feel better about themselves and build their confidence about the way they feel and look.
What do you do to stay in shape, or are you just a genetic freak?
I workout in the gym 4 days a week, paddle boarding and jogging.

Are you excited about the release of this issue of VIGOROUS with you in it?
I am so excited to see myself in VIGOROUS Magazine. I cannot wait to share this with my family and friends. It is such a reward for me after working so hard towards my weight management and muscle building goals.
First thing that comes to mind when you hear…
…“Donald Trump“: Arrogant, but accomplished many great policies for our country.
…”Winter“: Change in seasons. I love the snow.
…”Spring“: My favorite time of year when everything is green and flowers and trees are blooming. The weather is at its best, not too hot.
…”Marijuana“: It is the most beautiful and fragrant weed of the summer season.
What’s next for you?
Continue this year doing my best on stage with the IPL. I really have enjoyed Figure and Bodybuilding. This is where I am going to focus my goals. I like the way my body looks when I set these goals. I am 54 years young and in the best shape of my life. I believe in a healthy diet and lifestyle, on and off competition prep. VIGOROUS
