Everyone who knows me knows that music is super important in my life. And, as many of you know, I personally curate and “DJ” all music heard at IPL contests.

To say that 2021 was a challenging year would be a massive understatement. Coming off a COVID-ridden 2020, there were so many challenges, changes and unknowns heading into (and throughout) 2021.

I actually drove around the country in an SUV filled to the brim to make sure IPL shows happened in 2021. The longest run being from Arizona to Illinois, a 36 hour trip, both ways.

One of the main things that kept me going in 2021 was my playlist. On the road, in the gym, in the office, having fun and just chillin’ out.

These are my top 21 songs for 2021. This is a crazy eclectic list, as is my taste in music. It was hard to break my 2021 tunes down to just 21 songs, but I did it! Ha-ha

I also did not want to include more than one song by each of these artists/groups. I am such a fan of some of them that the whole list could have just come from one. But I wanted to mix it up.

I included audio links to each song so you guys can easily check them out and listen to the exact versions that I like. Please be aware that some of these songs do have explicit lyrics.

It took a while to put this together so, I hope you guys find some songs that you like and that can help get you through and have some fun!
