Last season’s Cover Girl, Heather Brice, is back—and the momentum hasn’t slowed. From the thrill of her Winter 2024 SEAM Magazine cover to her breakthrough victory at IPL APEX VIIII, Heather continues to embody what it means to evolve with purpose. She opens up about her journey from competitive sculptor to physique pro and thriving Arbonne entrepreneur, revealing how clean nutrition, mindset, and meaningful community have fueled her rise. Heather proves that success isn’t about timing—it’s about showing up, shifting with grace, and inspiring others along the way.

"Honestly, the excitement hasn’t faded one bit. That experience was such an honor and a total whirlwind."
SEAM MAGAZINE: Heather, welcome back to SEAM Magazine! You were the Cover Girl for the Winter 2024 issue. Has the excitement from that experience died down yet? Also, is there another one of the IPL’s magazines that you would love to be featured on the cover of?
HEATHER BRICE: Thank you! Honestly, the excitement hasn’t faded one bit. That experience was such an honor and a total whirlwind. It felt like a celebration of not just the hard work I put in, but the journey itself. I’m still humbled when people bring it up or share the issue with me. If I had the chance to be on another IPL magazine cover, I’d absolutely love to land Natural GAINZ. I think it speaks directly to the balance I strive for between muscle, artistry, and clean living.
SEAM: You’ve been balancing your dual passions of ice sculpting and physique competitions like a Pro. How do you keep everything running smoothly as your career continues to soar?
HEATHER: It’s definitely been a dance of shifting priorities. As my Arbonne business has really started to take off, I’ve had to ease off the ice a bit and give more time to nurturing that growth. It’s been such a rewarding shift because I still get to lead with creativity and connection. But now I’m helping people transform their health and income too. I’ve learned to honor the season I’m in. Right now, I’m focused on building momentum with Arbonne and my physique goals, while still keeping sculpting close to my heart.

"It’s never too late. The only 'perfect time' to start is now. I started pursuing physique competitions later in life, and I can honestly say I’m stronger and more confident than ever."
SEAM: You’ve been passionate about the role nutrition plays in your fitness journey. What are some of the biggest diet changes you’ve made to keep your energy high for both competitions and sculpting?
HEATHER: The biggest shift has been prioritizing gut health and clean supplementation, especially with my favorite green drink combo. I also make sure I’m getting enough protein and loading up on fresh vegetables. Once I started understanding how closely energy, mood, and performance are tied to what I fuel my body with, everything changed. I’ve cut out inflammatory foods, embraced whole-food nutrition, and use Arbonne’s products daily…especially the protein shake, gut health products, and energy fizz. Hydration and consistent fueling are key, especially during long sculpting days in the cold or intense training sessions. This season, I competed with a little more weight on and opted for a 3-day event instead of 6 days. My body held up better, thanks to ramping up my calories and hydration when I needed it most.
SEAM: You’re a huge inspiration to anyone looking to embrace fitness at any stage in life. What would you say to those who think it’s too late to start their own fitness journey?
HEATHER: It’s never too late. The only “perfect time” to start is now. I started pursuing physique competitions later in life, and I can honestly say I’m stronger and more confident than ever. Fitness isn’t about chasing youth. It’s about building strength, resilience, and joy at every stage. Every rep and every small habit adds up. And as we age, lifting becomes even more important to maintain bone density and overall health. If I can do it, you absolutely can too.

"I reminded myself of my why. I leaned into community, took imperfect action, and chose growth over fear every single time."
SEAM: Your win at IPL APEX where you earned your Pro Card and took 1st place in Women’s Bodybuilding Open is a huge milestone. What was the most rewarding part of that achievement?
HEATHER: That moment was surreal. The most rewarding part was standing on that stage knowing I had done the hard work, pushed through self-doubt, and showed up fully as myself. It wasn’t just a trophy—it was proof that persistence and purpose can take you places you never imagined. And after earning my Pro Card at APEX, I got to share the stage with my coach, Teresa Moss. That was such an honor—competing alongside that level of talent was pure joy and validation.
SEAM: With so many impressive titles, what’s been your biggest challenge leading to such great success, and how did you overcome it?
HEATHER: The biggest challenge has been silencing the inner critic and trusting that I belong in this space. It’s easy to look around and feel like you’re too late, too different, or not enough. But every time I stepped into the gym, into the sculpting studio, or onto an Arbonne leadership call—I reminded myself of my why. I leaned into community, took imperfect action, and chose growth over fear every single time.

"It means I’ve grown enough to help others see what they’re capable of too."
SEAM: What do you think has been the secret to your consistency in staying on top of both your physique and your confidence?
HEATHER: For me, consistency comes from having a purpose bigger than just physical appearance. Whether I’m carving ice, helping a client transform their health, coaching a teammate into confidence, or prepping for a show—I’m doing it to inspire. That’s what keeps me grounded. Daily disciplines, a strong support system, and a focus on whole-body wellness have made all the difference. Confidence, for me, comes from showing up—especially when it’s hard.
SEAM: Heather, thank you for once again sharing your journey with us. You are an inspiration. Looking ahead, what are your next big goals—both personally and professionally?
HEATHER: Thank you for yet another amazing opportunity! I am so grateful for you. Professionally, I’m all in on growing my Arbonne team and helping others find stability, purpose, and flexibility. Whether they’re students, creatives, or approaching retirement, like many in my network. I want people to know that you can do it scared and still succeed. Personally, I’m focused on becoming stronger—mentally, physically, and spiritually—and being more present with my family. My next milestone is Regional Vice President. I’ve had that white Benz in my vision for a while—not just for the car itself, but for what it represents. It means I’ve grown enough to help others see what they’re capable of too. SEAM
