PRO OPEN & PRO MASTERS| Saturday, October 29
IPL SUPER PRO QUALIFIER FOR OPEN & MASTERS – Athletes who earn Open or Masters Professional status will qualify to compete in the same contest at the Pro level if they choose to.
Top Five in all classes qualify to compete at APEX VI. The IPL’s Pinnacle Year-End Championship Event.
BE SURE TO CHECK THE CONTEST RESULTS as some top 5 athletes were already APEX qualified. In these cases the qualification(s) will go to the athlete(s) who placed next in order.
LATE FEES
Please Be Aware:
- At 12 weeks out (8.6.22) a $25 late fee will be applied to entries. No late fee for changes or added classes.
- At 8 weeks out (9.3.22) a $50 late fee will be applied to entries. No late fee for changes or added classes.
- At 4 weeks out (10.1.22) registration will close. A $100 late fee will be applied to entries. A $50 late fee will be applied per change or added class.

COMPETITOR CHECK-IN: FRIDAY OCTOBER 28TH – from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Courtyard Sacramento Midtown – 4422 Y St | Sacramento, Ca 95817. If any competitors do not report for check-in prior to 7:00PM they will be disqualified from the show (NO REFUNDS).
COMPETITOR MEETING: SATURDAY OCTOBER 29TH – from 10:00AM – 10:30AM at the venue.
SHOW TIME: SATURDAY OCTOBER 29TH: PREJUDGING & FINALS – 11:00 AM TO 3:00PM (doors open at 10:45 AM)

SHOW FORMAT
The format of this contest will be “straight run.” Meaning the entire contest will take place in one block of time. Awards will take place directly after judging for each class.

CROSSOVERS:
A “crossover” is entering more than one class/division. For example, a competitor may enter the Novice class, if eligible, and also elect to crossover into the Open class and compete in it as well. Another example is a competitor entering the Figure division as well as the Evening Gown division. A different suit must be worn for each division you enter. For example, Figure and Bikini. (*this applies to both Men & Women for ALL divisions). This does not apply to classes within the divisions. For example, a competitor may compete in a Novice and Open Class within the same division (Bikini, for instance) wearing the same suit.
PUMP-UP AREA:
Light weights, stretch bands and mirrors will be back stage for use in pumping up before going on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
CLASS SPLITS:
*If the number of competitors in a division reaches 12 then the division will be split into two classes, according to height. If the number reaches 18 then there will be three height classes, 24 = 4 and so on.
If there is more than one class within a division there will be an Overall round where the winner from each class then competes against the other class winners. Judges will use a traditional judging system here and place them according to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on. The competitor that receives the most 1st place votes, wins the Overall.
FINALS ROUTINES, WALKS, AWARDS, PRO CARDS & APEX QUALIFIERS
ROUTINES & WALKS: All divisions include a model walk/routine at Finals. Men’s and Women’s Bodybuilding require a routine (choreographed or freestyle). The other divisions require a walk. Only the top five in each class will perform posing routines/walks.
PRO CARDS: One Pro Card (1st place) per class. In the event that there are less than five (1 to 4) competitors in a Pro Qualifying class, the winner must achieve a cumulative average score of 8 points in order to be awarded Professional status.
PROFESSIONAL, AMATEUR OPEN, MASTERS, NOVICE, INSPIRATION & TRANSFORMATION
Trophies and awards are presented at the end of each division.
INSPIRATION & TRANSFORMATION: Participation medals will be awarded to all contestants. Top Transformation trophies will be awarded to one male and one female.
AMATEUR NOVICE AND MASTERS 50+ & 60+: Top 5 in each class receive medals. Overall winners receive an additional Medal.
AMATEUR OPEN AND MASTERS 40+ (Pro qualifiers): Top 5 in each class receive medals. 1st Place receives a trophy. If the 1st place winner earns Pro Qualification (because there are at least five competitors in the class or through scoring enough points) they will receive the Official “IPL Pro Qualified” Medal. Overall winners receive an additional Medal (and tiara for Bikini Model, Swimsuit Model, Bikini and Evening Gown – Masters and Open)
PROFESSIONAL OPEN: Top 3 in each class receive credit awards. Top 5 in each class receive medals. 1st place winners also receive a trophy.
