PERSEVERANCE, FAITH, LOVE

Growing up, I was blessed with a loving mother who never ceased to pray for me and who never lost faith in my potential. Her unwavering support and love became the foundation upon which I built my life. And it was her prayers that guided me through the darkest moments of my journey to becoming an IPL Pro.

"My battle with depression was a constant companion throughout my youth and into adulthood. The weight of it threatened to consume me, mentally and emotionally."

     My battle with depression was a constant companion throughout my youth and into adulthood. The weight of it threatened to consume me, mentally and emotionally. There were times when I felt utterly defeated, unable to see a way out of the darkness that clouded my mind. But through Faith in the Grace of God, His Love and the strength I found in Him, kept me from succumbing to the overwhelming despair.

     I sought in the Power of God’s unyielding Love and found solace in a gym called “24 hour Christian Gym”. It was there that I discovered the transformative power of physical exertion and the positive impact it had on my mental well-being through the guidance of a man named Dennis Rupple. Dennis lead and helped me.

"The challenges in my personal life only seemed to compound the weight I carried. Undergoing hip surgery, with my hip being replaced, and a painful divorce left me questioning my worth."

     The challenges in my personal life only seemed to compound the weight I carried. Undergoing hip surgery, with my hip being replaced, and a painful divorce left me questioning my worth. But I refused to be defined by the surgery, the feeling I could never be complete, the failure of a relationship and anti-religion rhetoric of those that stood against me.

     Instead, I turned to My God and used my skills, the passion of fitness and bodybuilding as a means of rebuilding myself. Both physically and emotionally. I channeled my pain into lifting, pushing myself beyond my limits until I stood tall, filled with pure determination.

     The torment of my past and the mistakes I had made threatened to hold me captive. But I refused to be bound by them. Through faith and my unyielding belief in God and myself, I found the strength to rise above the shadows of my history. I embraced the notion that my past did not dictate my future and that I had the power to shape my destiny.

     Amidst the trials and tribulations, I found myself. I found who and what I am. I learned to change the very air I breathe. Which, means to change the very energy thought, and actions. It became the very essence of my daily walk. I have discovered that love and faith truly have the power to conquer all.

"My story is a living testament to the fact that love and faith can change the very air we breathe. And I am grateful to have found both in abundance."

     Today, as an IPL Pro, I stand as a testament to the transformative power of perseverance, faith, and love. My journey serves as a reminder that no matter the challenges life throws our way, we have the capacity to overcome them. My story is a living testament to the fact that love and faith can change the very air we breathe. And I am grateful to have found both in abundance. INSPIRE
